UPDATE: A.S.S (http://4-5-5.net) contacted us, they will take up Eyeshield 21 from Ep91, with our translations. Timers are always welcome, because we have 55 translated episode to release! So first Nanashi went out of town for a week.. then I slacked off for a week.. so this is a little bit later than planned.. but we're still on a roll! If we keep with the plan, and BLASSREITER is easy enough for me to get through.. (I'm working on it for my own group) then we should have episode 91 in about 10 days. Keep your eyes peeled!

I honestly meant to get the typesetting on this episode done before I left for AX.. but this is the episode where the Cream Puff games start.. and matching fonts right before I leave.. just wasn't happening. GOMENYO~

Still, two weeks is better than two months.. so I guess I'm still keeping in with the effort. :D

BTW, AX was the WORST CONVENTION EVER! I've never had such a horrible time at a convention, as I did at AX2008. The WORST! And can you believe, they actually gouged the venders, buttloads of money?! I mean, what kind of anime-loving convention, charges a vender $10,000 JUST to move their boxes into the dealers hall? They charged them even more for the tables they put the books on! LAME. I know so many vender types that won't be back next year.. and I won't be back either. I'd rather support SDCC or Otakon, rather than put anymore money towards such a horribly run convention like AnimeExpo.

Anyhow.. enough ranting.. let's get on to the good stuff!!

Yeah.. with multiple illnesses and deaths and just.. a lot of crap.. the previous post, which did serve some merit.. kinda made me look like a dunce.

Sorry about that.

While things haven't really calmed down, and with AX just around the corner.. I can't say I'll kick ass and take names.. but.. I do have a couple new guys helping me out.. so.. that being said.. Nanashi should be encoding 88 this weekend.. and if all goes as planned.. perhaps even 89 also. *knocks on wood, says short prayers, anything not to jinx herself again*

Thanks to our two new guys, everything should go a lot faster over the summer.. and word has it, that we might actually start offering up x264 encodes also. (Come on, everyone go 'OooOOoooOOo' with me.. :3 ) I'm not sure from which episode they're gonna start with the x264.. but if it's back episodes.. we'll fix the typesetting and whatnot on those before doing a secondary encode. ^_^

Another thing you'll notice.. is that I got my hand on a few.. yes.. FEW.. DVD raws.. we talked and said.. what the hell.. why not.. so even though I haven't gotten them all yet.. we're gonna release with the ones we do have.. as sporadic as that may be.. *snicker*

Okay.. keep yr eyes peeled.. the next post.. (or edit? it's Nanashi's call) will be about the release of 88.. so keep those fingers crossed (or yr legs.. if you have to pee or something) and I hope we're able to get a bit more consistent!

Alright, I wanted to kinda give you guys an update on the status of things.. because in my last post, I said we'd start releasing each week.. and here we are.. having not accomplished that.

First, let me apologize. It's my fault. I have a lot of health issues and stuff and my grandmother was just diagnosed with breast cancer.. so I've been having to see both her oncologist and my oncologist.. on top of a bunch of other medical appointments and treatments and the like.. so I kinda got worn out and the like.

As well, I wanted to make our releases the best they could be, so I contacted some friends of mine about the best way to do that.. it required a bit of work from both Nanashi and myself.. but we've finally got everything in order. We just kept missing each other online, in order to discuss the best way to move forward on these things.

That all being said, 88 is about 85% done, only the afx and some other minor changes are left. So we should be releasing it to ya'll for super enjoyment, tomorrow sometime.

I'm really sorry for the hold up.. this isn't the only project that I have, that's been held up due to my illness.

Also, if any of you out there know how to time.. even if yr horrible at it.. and you'd like to do some pre-timing for me (thus, helping get the episode out faster) Drop me a line. All this would involve, is you doing a basic timing of the speech only.. and as I said, it doesn't even have to be good timing.. you don't have to do a second sweep or anything.. I just need it timed close enough to where they're talking, so that I can fine/scene time it and get it ready for release. You have to have knowledge of aegisub or sabbu.. I can't teach you how to use the programs.. that would only make it that much longer between releases if I have to teach someone.. sorry. And we're off! This episode brings the end of the beginning.. so to speak. :D

We spent some time on it, so we could get the typesetting down.. well.. I spent some time on it. *blush* I hope everyone is enjoying the changes that we're bringing with us into this new generation of Espada Subs.

Juumonji and I talk often, and have decided that we're going to go up to episode 102, then begin releasing 65+.. rather then going backwards to 65 and then moving forward. If all goes well, we should be able to start releasing an episode each week. *fingers crossed* We already have the translations, it's just a matter of me checking the translation, editing, timing and typesetting.. each episode.. which I love. ^_^ In the meantime, if any of you know me, you know that I have other shows that I work on.. so it becomes something of a juggling act.

We also setup an IRC channel on Immortal-Anime, and have established an account on Edward_K's tracker. If you're interested in providing a bot in the channel, let me know. My IRC is kinda funky at the moment, but there are many ways of contacting me. So if you're looking for our releases, from this point forward, you can look at http://espada.fansub-torrents.com and you'll be able to find them all. (well, there's only 87 right now, but soon, we'll have them all over there. ^_^)

Sorry, there wasn't any new release for a long time, but now I have a little time, first of all, there's a new project from us, Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica, in DVD-rip, thanks for the RAWs to Quantum-Raws, and yesy for the subtitles!
It's reencoded in x264,AAC, and the subs are retimed, grab it if you are interested ;)

You could've noticed there aren't new releases, this is because since university started neither Baki, nor I have any free time, because I am working, and Baki is training for a competition... and we need to learn too -.- So we decided, that, we'll look for new Translator/Timer for Eyeshield 21, and a new Translator for MAR, if anyone is interested please write email, though I can check it only at the weekends, we have the RAWs, and we can do the encode, so we hope there's someone who can help with the translations and timings!
