So first Nanashi went out of town for a week.. then I slacked off for a week.. so this is a little bit later than planned.. but we're still on a roll! If we keep with the plan, and BLASSREITER is easy enough for me to get through.. (I'm working on it for my own group) then we should have episode 91 in about 10 days. Keep your eyes peeled!

Eyeshield 21 - Episode 89

I honestly meant to get the typesetting on this episode done before I left for AX.. but this is the episode where the Cream Puff games start.. and matching fonts right before I leave.. just wasn't happening. GOMENYO~

Still, two weeks is better than two months.. so I guess I'm still keeping in with the effort. :D

BTW, AX was the WORST CONVENTION EVER! I've never had such a horrible time at a convention, as I did at AX2008. The WORST! And can you believe, they actually gouged the venders, buttloads of money?! I mean, what kind of anime-loving convention, charges a vender $10,000 JUST to move their boxes into the dealers hall? They charged them even more for the tables they put the books on! LAME. I know so many vender types that won't be back next year.. and I won't be back either. I'd rather support SDCC or Otakon, rather than put anymore money towards such a horribly run convention like AnimeExpo.

Anyhow.. enough ranting.. let's get on to the good stuff!!

Let's Try This Again...

Yeah.. with multiple illnesses and deaths and just.. a lot of crap.. the previous post, which did serve some merit.. kinda made me look like a dunce.

Sorry about that.

While things haven't really calmed down, and with AX just around the corner.. I can't say I'll kick ass and take names.. but.. I do have a couple new guys helping me out.. so.. that being said.. Nanashi should be encoding 88 this weekend.. and if all goes as planned.. perhaps even 89 also. *knocks on wood, says short prayers, anything not to jinx herself again*

Thanks to our two new guys, everything should go a lot faster over the summer.. and word has it, that we might actually start offering up x264 encodes also. (Come on, everyone go 'OooOOoooOOo' with me.. :3 ) I'm not sure from which episode they're gonna start with the x264.. but if it's back episodes.. we'll fix the typesetting and whatnot on those before doing a secondary encode. ^_^

Another thing you'll notice.. is that I got my hand on a few.. yes.. FEW.. DVD raws.. we talked and said.. what the hell.. why not.. so even though I haven't gotten them all yet.. we're gonna release with the ones we do have.. as sporadic as that may be.. *snicker*

Okay.. keep yr eyes peeled.. the next post.. (or edit? it's Nanashi's call) will be about the release of 88.. so keep those fingers crossed (or yr legs.. if you have to pee or something) and I hope we're able to get a bit more consistent!
